I have been pretty lazy, overall, since about November 18th. That was my last essay. My last newsletter was around the same time. I did do three weekly livestreams after Thanksgiving, but I didn’t update Patreon or Substack during that period and the majority of my content has been Twitter shitposting. I was sick between 11/5 and 11/18 and then took the Sunday after Thanksgiving off so I could sleep in. So today I did something about it.
I went ahead and made sure all those streams are up on Patreon so my patrons can access them easily there. I plan to do a community update for patrons too. The episodes posted include guests Bess Goden, Renee Johnston, and Connor Exum. We talk about everything from Palestine, to Cornel West, to AI, and we have a lot of fun jumping down the rabbit holes that come up along the way!
The shortest episode is a bit over an hour and the longest is a bit over three. If you’ve never watched the show, this is a great chance to dive in! If you’re behind because I haven’t been linking stuff here or to Patreon, this is a great chance to catch up!
Last week’s show was with Connor Exum. We planned to talk about the intersection between AI and the Palestinian genocide, and how the primary advantage of AI to the people using it is convenient automation without a lot of immediate human labor. We did talk about this, but we also jumped down a lot of rabbit holes along the way! This is the three hour show I warned you about. I think it’s worth watching all of it.
Eugene Weixel will be coming back on the stream tomorrow, 12/15, and we will talk about Essequibo, Palestine, and whatever rabbit holes present themselves along the way. The last time I had Eugene on the show it was part of a couple of segments with another guest and I am looking forward to doing a solo show with him! Since we’re both cranky old men we might disagree more than I do with some guests, but Eugene is a font of knowledge and experience.
Tomorrow’s show with Eugene will also be the last show of the year. While I hope to have some holiday updates and announcements for the new year, I will be taking Christmas Eve and New Year’s off and not streaming those Sunday mornings!
